About Guarachi Family Wines
Guarachi Family Wines was founded by Alex Guarachi, a Chilean immigrant and former professional soccer player, with two distinct California estates: Meadowrock Vineyard in Napa's Atlas Peak AVA (60 acres at 1,400-1,760 ft elevation planted to Bordeaux varieties in 2014) and Sun Chase Vineyard in Sonoma's Petaluma Gap AVA. Chief Winemaker Julian Gonzalez oversees all production at the dedicated Meadowrock winery facility. Wines have earned 97 points (Wine Enthusiast) and 100 points (Tasting Panel) and appear on the Robb Report's Top 7 Best Pinot Noirs. Estate wines are sold through the website and Wine Club; no public tasting room.
