WineryGuide Privacy Policy

Effective: May 12, 2026

The short version WineryGuide is built to work mostly offline. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. Your location stays on your device. The only thing leaving the app is anonymous usage analytics, which you can turn off in Settings.

1. Who we are

WineryGuide is a Napa Valley discovery app published by Stravia LLC. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what choices you have.

2. What we collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible. The app does not require an account, an email address, a phone number, or any payment information.

3. What we do not collect

4. How we use the limited data we have

Anonymous analytics events are used in aggregate to understand which features are valued, which screens are slow, and where we should invest. They are not used to profile individual users, because the data simply doesn't identify you.

5. Third-party services

6. Your choices

7. Data retention

Local data (favorites, itinerary, distance calculations) lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Aptabase for up to 24 months and then automatically deleted.

8. Children's privacy

WineryGuide is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
