About Clos Pegase

Clos Pegase is a landmark Calistoga winery founded in 1984 by Jan Shrem, designed by architect Michael Graves as a physical expression of the convergence of art and winemaking. After a thoughtful restoration preserving the original vision, the estate reopened with newly renovated tasting rooms, caves, a sculpture-filled garden, and a vibrant art gallery. The wines span cool-climate Carneros Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to Cabernet Sauvignon from the warm, rocky soils of Calistoga.
